3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 126 .030 WT is a thermosetting modified epoxy adhesive film designed for structural bonding applications in aerospace and other demanding industries. The supported film provides controlled adhesive placement and high tack in the uncured state, making it suitable for efficient shop handling and assembly. With a nominal adhesive weight of 0.030 lb/ft² (147 g/m²) and a nominal thickness of approximately 0.005 in (0.13 mm), AF 126 .030 WT is designed for bonding metal and composite structures, including solid-panel and honeycomb sandwich constructions. It is designed for a 250°F (121°C) cure, while the AF 126 family can be cured over a broader temperature range depending on the applicable process. The adhesive film offers long-term bond performance across a range of environmental conditions and can be processed using vacuum-bag techniques. 3M identifies AF 126 as part of its aerospace structural adhesive film range, with applications including composite and metal bonding and honeycomb sandwich fabrication.
