3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Adhesive Film AF 163-2OST .03 is a green, one-side-tacky, thermosetting modified epoxy adhesive film developed for demanding aerospace structural bonding applications. It is designed for both solid-panel construction and honeycomb sandwich structures, providing a controlled film format for consistent adhesive application across large bonding areas. The AF 163-2OST .03 formulation provides high bond strength, fracture toughness and peel strength, along with resistance to high-moisture environments before and after curing. Its one-side-tacky construction and non-woven carrier help facilitate handling and positioning during assembly. The material can be processed using low-pressure bonding and vacuum curing, making it suitable for aerospace composite manufacturing and repair processes.
