Description
AkroFire AF306P is a self-contained aircraft cargo liner repair kit designed to repair damage to commercial aircraft baggage-compartment liners. It uses an 8" × 8" repair patch and is intended for L-shaped or U-shaped tears up to 6" × 6" and slits up to 8.5". The kit uses a two-part, pre-measured epoxy adhesive system that mixes at room temperature. The system is designed for strong, tough bonding with low shrinkage and significant fire resistance, and can bond to materials including metals, phenolic plastics, polyester, glass, glass fabrics and rubber. AF306P is designed for on-aircraft repair without drilling or blind fasteners. AkroFire states that AF300 Series repairs meet the flame-resistance requirements of FAR 25.855, Appendix F, Part III, and the AF300 Series patch kits have FAA Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA).
