Description

AkroFire AF81212 Speed Patch is a 12" × 12" fire-resistant cargo liner repair patch designed for fast, permanent repairs to damaged flat and gently contoured areas of aircraft cargo-bay liners. It uses a peel-and-stick pressure-sensitive adhesive, allowing the patch to be installed in seconds without a conventional wet adhesive or curing process. The patch incorporates a proprietary intumescent polymer that forms a protective fire-resistant char when exposed to fire. The AF800 Series is designed to meet the flame-resistance requirements of FAR 25.855, Appendix F, Part III, and AkroFire states that the series is supplied under FAA Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA).
