Description
HexForce™ AH370-5H is a high-performance carbon fibre woven fabric manufactured by Hexcel, designed for composite reinforcement in demanding aerospace and other structural applications. The fabric uses Hexcel AS4 H 6K carbon fibre yarns in both the warp and fill directions and features a 5-Harness Satin (5HS) weave. The 5-Harness Satin construction provides a relatively smooth, conformable fabric that can be draped over contoured components while maintaining the reinforcement characteristics required for composite structures. AH370-5H has a dry fabric weight of approximately 10.88 oz/yd² (369 g/m²) and a nominal thickness of 15.0 mil (0.38 mm). The 60-inch version is listed commercially as AH370-5H-60IN and is identified as Hexcel carbon fibre fabric.
