Description

FM® 410-1 is a modified epoxy foaming adhesive from Cytec, now associated with Solvay/Syensqo. It is designed for aerospace composite applications including honeycomb-core splicing, bonding inserts and edge members, and localized reinforcement. The material expands during curing to fill gaps and create a structural bond within sandwich constructions. The 0.05-inch version is listed by Pacific Coast Composites against A50TF103 Class B, AMS 3688 and Cytec Standard. FM 410-1 is also documented in aerospace material records as a foam adhesive used at honeycomb interfaces.
