Description

Solvay FM® 300-2M 0.06 is a 250°F (121°C) cure epoxy film adhesive developed for aerospace composite bonding. It is a lower-temperature version of the FM 300 adhesive system, allowing structural bonding without requiring the 350°F cure associated with standard FM 300. It is particularly suited to co-cure and secondary bonding of composite structures. The 0.06 PSF version has a nominal adhesive weight of 0.06 lb/ft² (293 g/m²) and approximately 0.010 in (0.25 mm) thickness. The material is supplied with a polyester carrier and provides controlled adhesive flow during composite bonding. It also offers good moisture and corrosion resistance for metal-bonding applications.
