Description
FM® 73M 0.06 is a toughened, modified epoxy film adhesive originally developed by Cytec for aerospace structural bonding. It is a supported film incorporating a random polyester mat carrier, which provides good handling characteristics during layup while maintaining strong structural bonding performance. The 0.06 lb/ft² (300 g/m²) version has a nominal thickness of approximately 0.010 in (0.25 mm). It is suitable for metal-to-metal, composite-to-composite and composite-to-metal bonding, with applications in aerospace structural components and bonded repairs. FM 73M is typically cured at 250°F (121°C). Published technical data reports an advertised use temperature of approximately 180°F (82°C).
