Description
LOCTITE® EA 9837.1 AERO .030 OST is an epoxy-based composite surfacing film developed for improving the surface quality of honeycomb-stiffened composite structures. The film uses a non-woven fabric support and is designed to provide a smooth, high-quality surface suitable for subsequent painting or finishing. The material offers good tack, co-curability and high leveling properties, while helping minimize core crush and surface porosity. It is also designed to resist microcracking and is compatible with lightning-strike protection screens and foils. The .030 version has a nominal areal weight of approximately 0.030 lb/ft² (150 g/m²).
