3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP490 is a high-strength, two-component black epoxy structural adhesive designed for demanding bonding applications where toughness, strength, and durability are required. Its thixotropic, non-sag formulation makes it suitable for bonding on vertical surfaces, while providing excellent peel and shear strength and good impact resistance. DP490 offers a 90-minute work life, uses a 2:1 mix ratio, and provides heat and environmental resistance up to 120°C. It can bond difficult substrates including most plastics and powder-coated metals and is particularly useful for composite assemblies and demanding industrial applications..
