Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP270 Black Epoxy Potting Compound/Adhesive is a two-part, low-viscosity epoxy system designed primarily for potting, sealing, encapsulation, and bonding of electrical and electronic components. Its formulation provides good thermal-shock resistance, excellent electrical insulation properties, minimal exotherm, and very low shrinkage during curing. DP270 is also non-corrosive to copper, making it suitable for sensitive components such as sensors, glass diodes, transformers, coils, chokes, and relays. It provides approximately 70 minutes of work life and cures at room temperature to form a rigid black encapsulating material.
