Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-1357 Gray-Green Neoprene High Performance Contact Adhesive is a fast-acting, solvent-based contact adhesive designed for high-strength bonding of rubber, fabric, foam, metal, wood veneer, plastic laminates, plastic honeycomb, and other compatible substrates. It provides rapid strength build-up, excellent initial adhesion, and a long bonding range that allows time for positioning and adjustments. The adhesive also offers high heat resistance and durability under continuous-load conditions, making it particularly suitable for aircraft interiors, composite panels, laminating, and demanding industrial bonding applications. It can be applied by spray, brush, or roller and is suitable for processes requiring approximately 10–20 minutes of open time. 3M lists the EC-1357 as meeting relevant aerospace/industrial adhesive requirements, including MIL-A-21366A and MMM-A-121.
