Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-1357 Light Yellow Neoprene High Performance Contact Adhesive is a fast-acting, solvent-based neoprene adhesive designed for high-strength bonding of rubber, cloth, metal, wood, foamed glass, paper honeycomb, decorative plastic laminates, and other compatible substrates. It provides rapid strength build-up with excellent initial adhesion, while its long bonding range allows time for positioning and adjustments during assembly. The adhesive offers high heat resistance and durability under continuous-load conditions, making it particularly suitable for demanding aircraft interior, laminating, and industrial bonding applications. EC-1357 can be applied by spray, brush, or roller and is designed for applications requiring approximately 10–20 minutes of open time. 3M states that the product meets MIL-A-21366A and MMM-A-121 requirements.
