Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-2214 Gray Epoxy Adhesive is a one-part, 100% solids, heat-curing epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength bonding of metals, plastics, glass, and other compatible substrates. Its pliable paste consistency provides controlled, non-sag application and helps produce smooth, durable bond lines. The adhesive offers strong performance under environmental conditions involving expansion, contraction, and degradation, with a temperature resistance of approximately -55°C to 121°C. EC-2214 is suitable for demanding applications in aerospace, transportation, construction, and specialty vehicle industries, including metal and composite assembly. The adhesive can be repositioned before heat is applied and reaches full cure in approximately 40 minutes at 121°C.
