Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-3501 B/A Gray Epoxy Adhesive is a fast-curing, two-part structural epoxy adhesive formulated to produce strong, durable, and impact-resistant bonds on metals, composites, and a variety of plastics. Its thixotropic, controlled-flow formulation helps minimize sagging and is particularly useful for filling surface porosity and pinholes in cured fiber-reinforced composites before painting. The adhesive provides high shear strength, good environmental resistance, and cures rapidly at room temperature, reaching handling strength in approximately 90–120 minutes. EC-3501 B/A uses a 1:1 mix ratio and is available in bulk and duo-pak cartridge formats for controlled dispensing. 3M also lists the adhesive in its aerospace specification support resources.
