Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 10 is a light-yellow, neoprene-based contact adhesive designed for bonding a wide range of materials. It can be applied by brush or roller and provides fast drying with strong initial adhesion and good resistance to creep. The adhesive is suitable for bonding aluminum, steel, plastics, rubber, canvas, wood, wallboard and plastic laminates. For aerospace applications, Scotch-Weld 10 is used for applications such as edge protection and bonding flexible or semi-flexible materials. A Pilatus service bulletin, for example, specifies 3M Scotch-Weld 10 for edge-protection work. The product has a 60-minute bonding range and meets the specification requirements of MMM-A-121, MMM-A-130B and A-A-1936A.
