Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP8010 Blue is a two-part acrylic structural adhesive specifically formulated for bonding low-surface-energy plastics, including many grades of polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). It can also bond metals, ceramics, wood, composites, and many other plastics. The adhesive requires little or no special surface treatment, making it useful for multi-material assemblies. DP8010 Blue has a 10:1 mix ratio, medium viscosity for controlled dispensing, approximately 10 minutes of work life, and reaches handling strength in about 60 minutes. It is formulated with spacer beads to help maintain consistent bond-line thickness and provides resistance to water, humidity, corrosion, and many chemicals.
