Description

3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-1838 B/A is a two-part, room-temperature-curing epoxy structural adhesive formulated for durable bonding of composites, metal panels, metals, wood, rubber and some plastics. Its high-viscosity, controlled-flow formulation provides good application control and is designed not to sag or migrate when applied to vertical or overhead surfaces. The adhesive provides high shear strength, good peel and impact resistance, and strong environmental resistance. It has a 60-minute work life, giving additional time for positioning and adjustment, and can be applied by spatula, trowel or suitable automated dispensing equipment.
