Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ EC-2214 is a one-part, 100% solids, heat-curing epoxy adhesive formulated for high-strength bonding of metals and high-temperature plastics such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic, polyester and phenolics. It is particularly suited to demanding aerospace and structural bonding applications. The adhesive has a pliable paste consistency that can be applied without sagging. The regular EC-2214 formulation is aluminum-filled and designed for applications requiring structural strength at temperatures up to approximately 121°C (250°F). 3M also offers EC-2214 variants including Hi-Density, Hi-Temp and Hi-Temp New Formula, so the exact variant should be retained in your catalog rather than treating all 2214 products as identical.
