Description

ARALDITE® 252-1 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing, low-density epoxy syntactic filler designed for insert potting and for edge and core reinforcement in honeycomb sandwich structures. It forms a non-sagging paste with high compression resistance and can be easily sanded after curing, making it suitable for aerospace composite assembly, reinforcement, repair, and edge filling applications. The system uses ARALDITE® 252-1 resin with HARDENER 252-2 and is available in blue or white versions. Huntsman states that the system meets the flammability requirements of FAR 25.853(a) and the technical requirements of ASNA 4072 and AIMS 10-03-005.
