Description

ARALDITE® HV 997-1 is a two-component epoxy hardener used with compatible ARALDITE® epoxy resins to produce tough, high-strength structural adhesives. It is used in systems such as ARALDITE® AV 144-2 / HV 997-1 and AW 136H / HV 997-1, which are designed for bonding metals, ceramics, glass, plastics, rubber and reinforced plastics. When combined with AW 136H, HV 997-1 produces a room-temperature-curing, lightly thixotropic adhesive with good temperature resistance and excellent resistance to water and humidity. The system is also suitable for bonding metal or mineral panels to honeycomb cores.
