Description

ARALDITE® LY 5052 is a low-viscosity epoxy resin used with ARADUR® 5052 hardener to form a cold-curing epoxy system for aerospace and industrial composites, tooling, and aircraft repair. Its low viscosity provides good impregnation of reinforcement materials, making it suitable for composite manufacturing and repair processes. The system offers a long pot life of approximately 2 hours for a 100 ml mix at ambient conditions, providing sufficient working time for larger composite structures. It can be processed by wet lay-up, resin transfer moulding (RTM), pressure moulding, and filament winding.
