Description

ARALDITE® LY 556 IN is a low-viscosity epoxy resin used as the resin component in high-performance composite systems. It is designed for composite manufacturing and can be paired with different compatible hardeners depending on the required curing process and final performance. Huntsman lists LY 556 systems for industrial and structural composites. Its low viscosity provides good fibre wetting and impregnation, making it suitable for processes such as wet lay-up, resin transfer moulding (RTM), pressure moulding, filament winding and pultrusion when used in the appropriate resin system.
