Description
EPOCAST 1648 A/B is a two-component, low-density, flame-retardant epoxy syntactic adhesive and void-filling compound developed for aerospace interior applications. Its thixotropic, non-flowing paste can be extruded through a 3 mm nozzle and sets rapidly at room temperature, allowing controlled application in honeycomb structures. The material is designed for high-strength, lightweight applications including fastener and insert potting, honeycomb edge filling and sealing, ditch potting, tab-and-slot joining, and honeycomb core reinforcement.
