Description
LOCTITE® EA 9309.3NA AERO is a toughened, two-part epoxy paste adhesive developed for aerospace structural bonding applications. It is designed particularly for bonding aluminum metal skins and honeycomb cores, forming tough, permanently flexible joints with high shear and peel strength. The cured adhesive provides good resistance to humidity, water and most common fluids, making it suitable for demanding aircraft structural and repair applications. The adhesive contains 5 mil (0.13 mm) glass beads that help control bond-line thickness during assembly. It uses a 100:22 mix ratio by weight, with approximately 35 minutes of working time at 25°C. The adhesive can be cured at room temperature or accelerated with heat.
