Description

LOCTITE® EA 9377 AERO is a two-component, thixotropic epoxy paste adhesive developed for aerospace structural applications. It is particularly suited to liquid shimming, gap filling, and moldable shim applications, where high compressive strength and resistance to microcracking during thermal cycling are required. The adhesive has low slump and can achieve shim thicknesses down to approximately 5 mil (0.13 mm). The material cures at room temperature and can also be accelerated with heat. Its cured properties include high compressive and peel strength, while Henkel specifies service temperatures up to approximately 93°C (200°F). It is qualified to BMS 8-338.
