Description

LOCTITE® EA 9390 AERO is a two-component, low-viscosity epoxy adhesive specifically developed for aerospace composite repair and wet lay-up applications. It provides good substrate wetting, high shear modulus, and strong performance under hot/wet conditions, making it suitable for repairing graphite/carbon-fiber and glass-fiber composite structures. Henkel identifies it as the current product name for Hysol® EA 9390. The adhesive is designed for room-temperature storage and curing, with accelerated curing at 93°C (200°F). It has relatively low viscosity, allowing good penetration and wetting of reinforcement during composite repair. It is qualified to BMS 8-301, Class 1, Grade 1.
