Description

LOCTITE® EA 9394 AERO is a two-component, thixotropic epoxy paste adhesive developed for demanding aerospace structural bonding, repair, potting, filling, and liquid-shim applications. It cures at room temperature and provides high strength at temperatures up to approximately 177°C (350°F). Its thixotropic consistency helps the adhesive stay in position during application, while its high compressive strength makes it particularly suitable for metal and honeycomb bonding and repair. Henkel identifies it as the current product associated with the former Hysol EA 9394 designation. The adhesive is qualified to MMM-A-132 and offers good gap-filling capability, long pot life, and improved hot/wet performance. It can be cured at room temperature or accelerated with heat; Henkel's technical bulletin specifies approximately 3–5 days at 25°C for normal performance, with accelerated curing possible at elevated temperatures.
