Description
LOCTITE EA 960F AERO is a two-component epoxy paste adhesive developed for aerospace applications, particularly as a fast-setting fairing and smoothing compound for exterior aircraft surfaces. It is designed to fill moderate surface imperfections and gaps before sanding and painting, helping produce a smooth, aerodynamic surface. The material cures rapidly at room temperature and changes to a uniform red colour when properly mixed, providing a visual indication of mixing. The adhesive is also suitable for metal and honeycomb assembly applications. It develops handling strength in approximately 1 hour at 25°C and can generally be sanded or painted after about 5–6 hours, depending on the cure conditions.
