Description

PPG Aerospace PR-184 is a single-component adhesion promoter and surface cleaner designed to improve the bonding of compatible aerospace sealants to metal surfaces and solvent-resistant coatings. Its solvent-based formulation contains a surface-activating agent and indicator dye to support surface preparation before sealant application. It is intended for approved aircraft sealing and maintenance processes where reliable sealant adhesion is required. Check substrate compatibility before use, particularly on acrylic materials where solvent-induced crazing may occur.
