Description
PPG Aerospace PR-1428 B-2 is a two-component, low-adhesion polysulfide sealant designed for sealing aircraft access doors and producing form-in-place gaskets. Its thixotropic paste formulation is suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula and cures at room temperature to form a flexible, removable seal on compatible aircraft surfaces. It is also used to protect electrical wires, terminals and equipment from moisture, fuel, dirt and potential short circuits during approved aircraft maintenance and assembly procedures.
