Description

PPG Aerospace PR-1772 B-1 is a two-component, low-density polysulfide sealant designed for aircraft fuselage sealing applications. Its lightweight formulation helps reduce aircraft weight while providing a flexible, durable seal with excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates. The sealant cures at room temperature and maintains its elastomeric properties after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. Its thixotropic paste consistency makes it suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula during approved aircraft assembly and maintenance procedures.
