Description

PPG P/S 890 C-48 is a two-component, manganese dioxide-cured polysulfide sealant designed for integral aircraft fuel tank and fuselage sealing applications. Its liquid, roller-grade formulation is suitable for brush and fay sealing, helping create durable seals between mating surfaces. After curing at room temperature, it forms a flexible, resilient seal that adheres to common aircraft substrates and maintains its elastomeric properties following prolonged exposure to aviation fuel and jet fuel. It is intended for approved aerospace assembly, fuel tank sealing and aircraft maintenance procedures.
