Description

Momentive RTV 118 is a one-component, translucent silicone adhesive sealant that cures at room temperature when exposed to atmospheric moisture, forming a tough, flexible and durable silicone rubber. Its self-levelling formulation allows it to flow into small gaps, crevices and hard-to-reach areas, making it suitable for bonding, sealing, electrical insulation, thin-section potting and protective coating applications. It adheres to many clean surfaces, including metals, glass, ceramics, silicone rubber and selected plastics. The cured material provides excellent resistance to weathering, ozone and chemicals, along with reliable electrical insulation performance.
