Description
Momentive RTV 159 Red is a one-component, high-strength silicone adhesive sealant that cures at room temperature when exposed to atmospheric moisture, forming a tough, flexible and durable silicone rubber. Its non-sag paste consistency allows application on horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces. Designed for demanding high-temperature applications, it is used for bonding and sealing aircraft components, electrical assemblies, equipment housings and gaskets. The cured sealant provides excellent electrical insulation, low-temperature flexibility, and resistance to weathering, ozone and chemicals, making it suitable for aerospace and industrial applications requiring durable, heat-resistant seals.
