Description
Momentive SNAPSIL RTV 167 is a one-component, electronic-grade silicone adhesive sealant that cures at room temperature when exposed to atmospheric moisture, forming a tough, flexible and durable silicone rubber. Its high-strength paste consistency makes it suitable for bonding, sealing, electrical insulation and formed-in-place gasket applications in electronic assemblies. It adheres to many clean surfaces, including metals, glass, ceramics, silicone rubber and selected plastics. Its non-corrosive curing system is compatible with electronic metals such as copper and brass, while the cured sealant provides excellent resistance to moisture, dust, UV exposure, ozone and chemicals. It is suitable for electronics, aerospace and industrial equipment applications requiring reliable insulation and durable sealing.
