Description
Momentive RTV 560 is a two-component, red silicone rubber compound supplied with DBT (dibutyltin dilaurate) catalyst. It cures at room temperature to form a flexible, durable silicone elastomer designed for applications requiring performance across extremely high and low temperatures. The cured material is suitable for electrical potting and encapsulation, thermal insulation, cast-in-place heat shielding, and specialised bonding and sealing applications. Its excellent release properties and ability to retain elastomeric characteristics under demanding thermal conditions make it suitable for aerospace, electrical and industrial equipment applications. A compatible primer is required when bonding to non-silicone surfaces.
