Description
Momentive RTV 560 is a two-component, red silicone rubber compound supplied with DBT (dibutyltin dilaurate) catalyst. It cures at room temperature to form a flexible silicone elastomer designed for applications exposed to extremely high and low temperatures. The compound is suitable for electrical potting and encapsulation, thermal insulation, cast-in-place heat shielding, and specialised bonding and sealing applications. Its excellent release properties and ability to retain flexibility under demanding thermal conditions make it suitable for aerospace, electrical and industrial equipment applications. A compatible primer can be used when bonding to non-silicone surfaces.
