Description
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP-420NS Black is a two-part, toughened epoxy structural adhesive formulated for demanding bonding applications where high strength, toughness, and impact resistance are required. Its non-sag paste formulation provides controlled application on vertical and overhead surfaces, while the cured adhesive offers high peel and shear strength with good resistance to shock, vibration, and fatigue. DP-420NS Black uses a 2:1 mix ratio and provides approximately 20 minutes of work life at room temperature. It develops handling strength in approximately 2 hours and reaches full cure in approximately 24 hours at 22°C. It is suitable for bonding a wide range of substrates, including metals, ceramics, wood, glass, composites, and many plastics.
