Description

PPG Aerospace 02Y040A / 02Y040ACAT is a two-component yellow epoxy primer formulated for aerospace coating systems. It is designed to provide a durable protective layer on properly prepared aircraft substrates while promoting adhesion between the substrate and compatible subsequent coating layers. The primer is suitable for aircraft manufacturing and maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) applications where corrosion protection and a reliable foundation for the exterior coating system are required. Its yellow finish provides the characteristic appearance associated with aerospace epoxy primer systems.
