Description

P-1024 Acid Etch / Wash Primer is a multi-component metal pretreatment primer designed to promote adhesion and provide corrosion protection on a range of aerospace metal substrates. The system is suitable for surfaces including aluminum, galvanized metal, lead, brass, magnesium and ferrous metals. The wash primer functions as an adhesion-promoting pretreatment layer before application of compatible primer or topcoat systems. The documented P-1024 system is manufactured to meet the performance requirements of DOD-P-15328, HMS 15-1098 Type II and MIL-C-8514C.
