Description
AkzoNobel Aerospace 10P2-3 / EC-110 is a two-component, flat-black conductive epoxy coating designed to produce an anti-static conductive film on fiberglass components. It is suitable for aerospace applications where electrical conductivity and static-charge dissipation are required. The system consists of 10P2-3 base and EC-110 curing solution. AkzoNobel specifies a 3:1 mixing ratio by volume and a 30-minute induction time. The coating can be air-cured or force-dried and is applied as a single uniform coat at a recommended dry-film thickness of approximately 15–25 μm (0.6–1.0 mil). The product is qualified to several aerospace specifications, including BMS 10-21 Type III, BAMS 565-012 Type III, CMS-CT-223 Type II, MEP 10-053 Type II and GMS 5003 Type I, Class 2, among others.
