Description

AkzoNobel Aerospace 10P20-12 / EC-212 is a two-component, high-solids epoxy primer designed for the exterior of aircraft. It provides corrosion resistance and adhesion for compatible urethane topcoat systems and is resistant to Skydrol®. The system uses 10P20-12 as the base and EC-212 as the curing solution, with TR-114 available as the thinner/reducer when required. The manufacturer's technical data specifies a 3:1 base-to-curing-solution mix ratio by volume, with up to 0.5 part thinner if desired. The primer is yellow and is qualified to Boeing Long Beach DMS 2104, Type I, Component C.
