Description
AkzoNobel Aerospace 10P30-5 / EC-275 / TR-115 is a high-solids, corrosion-resistant epoxy primer designed for aerospace structures. It provides a protective primer layer with strong compatibility with sealants, intermediate primers and topcoats. The system offers resistance to Skydrol®, water and chemicals, including TTS-735 Type VII hydrocarbons. AkzoNobel also states that 10P30-5 may serve as a combination process and fuel-tank primer, making it suitable for specialized aircraft coating applications. The system uses 10P30-5 as the base, EC-275 as the curing solution and TR-115 as the thinner/reducer. The manufacturer's mixing guide specifies a 3:1:2 ratio for base, curing solution and thinner/reducer, respectively, under the stated application conditions.
