Description

PPG PR-1422 A-2 is a two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide aircraft fuel tank sealant designed for brush sealing of fasteners in integral fuel tanks and aircraft fuselage applications. It provides excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates and maintains flexible, elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. The A-2 grade provides a 2-hour application life and cures at room temperature to form a resilient seal.
