Description

PPG PR-1422 B-2 is a two-part, dichromate-cured polysulfide aircraft fuel tank sealant designed for fillet sealing of integral fuel tanks and aircraft fuselage applications. Its low-sag, thixotropic paste can be applied by extrusion gun or spatula and cures at room temperature to form a flexible, resilient seal. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties and adhesion after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. The B-2 grade provides a 2-hour application life.
