Description

LOCTITE 222MS is a purple, low-strength, one-component anaerobic threadlocker designed for small threaded fasteners. It is suitable for fasteners up to approximately 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) and is formulated for applications where the assembly may need to be disassembled using ordinary hand tools. The adhesive is particularly suited to adjustment screws, countersunk screws and set screws, including applications on low-strength metals such as aluminum and brass. It helps prevent loosening caused by vibration while maintaining relatively easy serviceability.
