LOCTITE 243 is a blue, medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker designed to secure metal nuts and bolts against loosening caused by shock and vibration. Its primerless formulation works on a variety of metal surfaces, including stainless steel, aluminium, and plated surfaces, and can tolerate minor oil contamination. It provides reliable thread retention while still allowing disassembly with standard hand tools, making it suitable for industrial assembly, maintenance, and repair applications.
