Description

LOCTITE 272 is a red, high-strength, medium-viscosity anaerobic threadlocking adhesive designed for permanent locking and sealing of threaded metal fasteners. It cures when confined between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air, helping prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. It is particularly suited to large bolts and studs. LOCTITE 272 also provides high-temperature resistance up to 232°C (450°F). Its sealing capability helps prevent fluid leakage through threaded connections while maintaining a strong, vibration-resistant assembly.
