Description
LOCTITE 2760 is a high-strength, one-part anaerobic threadlocker formulated for heavy-duty threaded assemblies. Its thixotropic liquid formulation provides strong locking and sealing of threaded fasteners while helping prevent loosening caused by vibration and shock. It is designed for applications where rapid curing is important and generally does not require an activator. The product is particularly suited to demanding applications such as bolts used in transmissions, construction equipment and railroad assemblies. It is red in color and can fluoresce under UV light, which can assist with quality-control inspection. Henkel states that, depending on the substrate, full cure can be achieved in as little as one hour.
